UGC rates, pay and usage rights
How UGC creators get paid, how to work out a rate, and what usage rights, raw footage and whitelisting mean for the price. There are no rate tables here: what you charge is yours to set. 1 answer so far.
How do UGC creators get paid?
You can be paid a fee per video or bundle, plus separate lines for usage rights, raw footage or a monthly retainer, collected by sending an invoice. A brand may offer product instead of a fee, which suits you only when nothing else is asked. Agree the fee, deposit and payment date in writing before you film, so you can point to it if payment is late.
