a pasted link is usually picked up within a couple of seconds, and a short video — around a minute long or less — is typically written within a minute or two of that. a longer video takes longer, and the first script after the worker has been idle is slower than the ones after it because the transcription model has to load. we do not show a countdown, because a countdown that reaches zero while you are still waiting is worse than no countdown.
