lynxr works with TikTok and Instagram — a TikTok video or short link, an Instagram reel or post. a link on any other host, YouTube and Facebook included for now, is refused before anything is downloaded, and refusing it costs you nothing from your allowance.

no — lynxr never asks you to upload a file or log in to any platform. a public link is all it needs to write a script. you can also add the public usernames you post from, confirmed with a short code in your bio, but never a password, and lynxr never posts anything on your behalf.

no. lynxr has no way to post anything anywhere, and it never asks for your password to any platform. to follow how your videos do, a profile you add has to be public, and some numbers, like how long people watch, may need it to be a business or creator account. the only thing lynxr hands back is your own script, in your own library.

Yes. lynxr never asks for your password to any platform and has no way to post anything to your accounts. Payments go through Stripe, so lynxr never sees or stores your card details. Threat-intelligence sites list a ransomware group that also calls itself “lynxr”; it has no connection to lynxr.io or lynxr LLC.

a pasted link is usually picked up within a couple of seconds, and a short video — around a minute long or less — is typically written within a minute or two of that. a longer video takes longer, and the first script after the worker has been idle is slower than the ones after it because the transcription model has to load. we do not show a countdown, because a countdown that reaches zero while you are still waiting is worse than no countdown.

yes. pick several companies when you send the link and you get one script per company. the video is only downloaded, transcribed and read once no matter how many companies you send it to, so the second and third scripts cost roughly a second each rather than a full pass.

you get a plain sentence saying why — private, deleted, age‑restricted, blocked in our region, or an unsupported link — and it costs you nothing from your allowance. where the problem could not be fixed by trying again, no retry button is offered, because offering one would only waste your time.

lynxr does. from 23 october 2026 the scripts lynxr writes belong to lynxr LLC, and you are free to use them: edit them, film them, post them and be paid for them, including in paid work for a company. that permission does not run out, and it stays with you if you close your account. scripts written before 23 october 2026 stay yours. one honest caveat, which is a fact about the law rather than a term we set: a machine‑generated script may not be protected by copyright at all. the full wording is in the terms.

Stripe is the merchant of record for lynxr pro. Stripe takes the payment, issues the invoice and collects any tax that is due where you are. lynxr never sees or stores your card details. from 23 october 2026, if you cancel pro within 48 hours of a payment, and you have written fewer than 10 scripts since that payment, that payment is refunded in full, once per account. cancelling later still stops the next renewal, and you keep pro to the end of the period you’ve paid for, but that payment is not refunded; the terms of service explain refunds.
